Balakrishnan M Acharya holds the position of Professor of Orthopedics and Dean at the School of Medicine in PAHS, Nepal. His responsibilities include ensuring the smooth implementation of unique undergraduate(UG) and postgraduate(PG) curricula specific to Nepal at PAHS. He is an essential member of PAHS and actively participates in various committees. He serves as the member-secretary of the Academic Council of PAHS. As an ex-officio member of Medical Education Commission of Nepal he contributes to the development of policies related to medical education standards and accreditation. His interests lie in exploring the various teaching-learning methods and assessment aspects related to the field of medical education and general orthopedics.
