PAHS NURSING PROGRAM
Introduction:
Patan Academy of Health Sciences, School of Nursing & Midwifery (Lalitpur Nursing Campus) (LNC) is a constituent campus of Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS). The Campus was founded in 1959 by the United Mission to Nepal (UMN). The purpose of foundation of the Campus was to educate Nepalese in the field of nursing. In 1972, the campus came under Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine (IOM) as its constituent campus. In 2003, LNC became an independent entity from UMN with the formation of the Board of Directors.
The Campus came under PAHS after the Tripartite Agreement between TU, PAHS and LNC in August 2015. LNC has started enrolling students under PAHS since academic year 2016/017.
